Storm Drain

At the Chevron Design Challenge in 2022, I was tasked with solving a problem in my community,

Working with a team of 8 student engineerts to design an innovative storm drain aimed at counteracting the constant flooding in Southern Texas.

This wooden protoype showcases the central concept here: Creating a large opening in a road or other paved surface for water to flow directly into greatly increases the rate of drainage.
