VELOCITY
VELOCITY is a complete robotics system built over the course of 8 weeks for the CHARGED UP season of the world's largest robotics competition, FRC.
The robot picks and places cubes and cones, then climbing onto a "seesaw"-like platform. It has complex electronics, many moving parts and linkages, a cascading elevator, and has autonomous machine vision capabilities.
On the team, my technical roles involved engineering design, fabrication, assembly, and electrical work.
ENGINEERING DESIGN
As a CAD designer on this robot, I worked to develop a robust design with my knowledge of DFM (Design for Manufacturing), adding the required tolerances and conducting interference testing.
