WashBot

As a member of the JASON Argonaut program, I had to develop a solution to a "real-world problem" over the course of a year. I chose to fix the horror that is modern day pressure washing. 

"According to the Consumer Product Safety Comission, over 6,000 Americans rush to the E.R. every year due to pressure washer-related injuries."

WashBot is a complete robotics system that safely and autonomously pressure washes residential and commerical surfaces. Consisting of a small mobile platform with a surface cleaner underneath, the robot simply follows a highly-customizable path beetween beacons placed by the user, pressure washing along the way.
